Cyclopentane is a highly flammable hydrocarbon employed to manufacture synthetic rubber, resins, and rubber adhesives. It is also employed as a blowing agent for polyurethane foam, which is further utilized to insulate refrigerators and freezers. Cyclopentane has zero OPD and low GWP.
