North America’s Biggest Energy Storage Conference to Soon Take Place

This year’s Energy Storage International (ESI) Conference and Exhibition in North America is all set to witness the largest gathering of the region’s storage companies. The gathering has been scheduled co-locate with the region’s biggest solar trade show, the Solar Power International. The move is expected to allow inputs from more companies in the storage sector, more detailed and educational data about latest trends, and an increased level of networking among companies. 115 storage companies participated at the SPI exhibition in 2016 and a vast majority of attendees showed interest in understanding the market well.

Energy storage, along with the rising stress on the development in the field of smart energy are presently the areas of focus that present a thorough picture of the energy ecosystem. Co-locating ESI with the event presents a picture that the solar, smart energy, and energy storage markets are in more synergy. Addition of ESI to the event makes SPI the most cost-effective and comprehensive exhibition and conference in North America.

SPI has also been recognized as one of the fastest growing and leading conferences in the region in the past three years. The number of attendees and exhibitors connected with SPI are increasing with each passing year. The show is expected to bring in the attendance of more than 18,000 people this year, of which more than 6,000 attendees will be interested in the energy storage sector. The co-location of ESI and SPI at the venue will help enhance the key role that the sector of energy storage is expected to play in the future growth of the solar industry.

The event is slated to happen over the period of 10 to 13 September, 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas.
