Xylem Revamps Packaging for EMEA Customers Making Them Eco-friendly

In a sustained effort to include sustainability practices, Xylem Inc., a prominent provider of pumps and water technology, recently announced that it has revamped product packaging for three of its popular brands. Coming September this year, various water pumps pertaining to its Goulds Water Technology, Lowara, and Flygt brands will be marketed in blue boxes across the Middle East and Europe.

This is an initiative to espouse its environmentally-sustainable goals, as the new packaging is recyclable. In addition, the packaging tends to enhance product visibility and the brand appeal, thereby improving the purchasing experience for customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), states the company.

Packaging Provides Comprehensive Product Information Upping Brand Appeal

The boxes are produced using ‘green’ or eco-friendly materials. The blue packaging on the boxes will feature a redesigned graphics and a unified and a comprehensive product label. The information will provide details on the content of the packaging, product dimensions, the pump’s image, its name, place of manufacturing, technical specifications, along with an online link to more exhaustive information. According to the division tasked with marketing Xylem products in EMEA, the project highlights the waste reduction strategies in its manufacturing processes.

Point of sale display offerings for the wholesaler channel are likely to be available in two sizes: small and large of (1×2 m) and (2×2 m) respectively.

Furthermore, the prominent manufacturer of water pumps reiterated that its production facilities are certified by DNV GL, which underscores its focus toward adopting sustainability practices across its processes.
